A unique entirely handmade and carved chess set in marquetry cabinet, the hardwood storage cabinet with inlaid walnut lid and Georgian style feet, each of the 32 pieces have been turned and hand carved from mahogany and white oak, all pieces have band of brass embellishment above the base and each piece weighted with an unused 2p coin.
This set was designed by a Yorkshire man and is his unfinished work, it has been worked on as a hobbyist project over many years, the set never reached its final stage of French polishing.
