Louis van Staaten (1859-1924), Dutch river scenes with various shipping, signed `N. Fowler Willatt`, watercolour over pencil, a pair, 26cm x 37cm.
This was a pseudonym adopted by the artist Louis van Staaten and used by him for his Dutch canal scenes. He used this pseudonym for the three works exhibited at the Royal Academy 1908-1914.
