We will do our best to help with post and packing for every auction, though there are some items we are legally not allowed to post. Some which may only be handled by couriers and some which are strictly collection only. Other than that, we have a variety of options designed to be of assistance.

Most of our auctions are held on a Friday. As soon as the auction is finished we email all the invoices, within minutes the postage requests start coming in.
The 'request option' can be found by clicking on the link attached to the invoice.
Our team start to examine requests in date/time order. Depending on what time the auction ends.
The preparation of postage quotes will usually not start until Monday morning.
Your emails/messages are not be ignored, we don't work on Saturdays on Sundays on postage.
Each request is checked against the catalogue lot entry and the physical item before a response and price is confirmed.
We have set prices based on our costs to carry out the task as well as the cost of the carrier, usually Royal Mail.
Collection may be cheapest option though we fully understand this is not always possible.
Our advice is 'Check on the cost of postage if your bid depends on this service'.
We will do our best to ensure you have a cost effective postage solution which will result in safe, timely receipt of goods to the designated addressee.
We prepare and post in order or request then payment. Some larger, delicate or complex packaging items may be delayed until we are satisfied we can carry out our end of the contract of agreement to ship and price paid.
None receipt of goods. We send the bulk of our items through Royal Mail 24 hour tracked and signed. You will be sent tracking information when the item/s have left us and been collected by Royal Mail. If you do not receive the goods withing 48 hours you must notify us so we can start a timely investigation with Royal Mail.
If you live in shared premises please notify us so we can add instructions to the shipment.

One final note. Our post team staff do the post and packing at Spicer's the service is not automated in any way. Our post team staff read and respond to each and every message, email and telephone enquiry. Our post team staff select the packaging materials, measure, weigh, move, wrap, pack, label and complete all the requirements of the carrier. Please be considerate and understand we don't do this to make money, we do this to pay wages, buy materials and ensure we can offer a complete insured service at no loss to the vendor.
