The saleroom will be open usual business hours, although both Phil and Kris are now in self-isolation due to them being over a certain age! Changes have been made on site to ensure the upmost care is being taken when dealing with your valuations, viewing, bidding and sale transactions.
To ensure that we are doing our very best to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we kindly ask that you support us by helping us with the following:
- Do not enter the building if you have any symptoms of the virus.
- When entering the building please put on a pair of disposable gloves, we have them available if you forget yours.
- Avoid cash handling (we take BACS and debit card payments).
- Make use of the hand sanitiser on site.
- We are only allowing 15 people into the saleroom at any one time, we will be adding extra viewing days to our normal Thursday.
- Most importantly, please do not put yourself or our staff at risk.
- With regard to valuations please use our online valuation service. You can also send images and a description to info@spicersauctioneers.com or WhatsApp images to 07469 956936.
- We have various means of participating in auctions without attending the saleroom, with additional services being added by Spicers to ensure that everyone still has full access to our auctions.
- You can leave commission bids, watch the auction live, and bid live from the comfort of your own home on this website.
Additional services
As opposed to usual telephone bidding restrictions, Spicers are offering to take telephone bids on any lot in future sales (taking into account our staffing capacity).
WhatsApp remote video viewing can be arranged.
As per the Government guidelines and advice, it will be business as usual at Spicers for the foreseeable future. Please rest assured that we are taking every precaution possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and are closely monitoring the guidelines in order to act appropriately.
