1963 Triumph T90 Tiger, 349cc. Registration number 142 UYD. Frame number T90H 30684. Engine number T90H 30684.
Sold with the V5C, key, various receipts for parts.
The 1963 Triumph Tiger 90 was a sportier version of the Triumph 3TA, introduced to appeal to a younger market. Built from 1963 to 1968, it featured a "bikini" fairing (dropped in 1964), higher compression pistons, and a slimmed-down design compared to the 3TA. It was essentially a 350cc version of the Bonneville, with a 349cc air-cooled, 4-stroke vertical twin engine producing 27 bhp.
UYD is V5C stated as being sold new to Barry Watts, he sold it to Barry Newby in 2014, the Dean Hughes in 2020 and our vendor in 2021. At this point it was blue and he then stripped it down for a full rebuild, returning it to its original white. There are receipts on file for several parts. It was in good running order in 2024 when it was laid up for the winter, light recommissioning may be required.
