Autohomes coachbuilt the Bambi between 1986-1992 in Poole, Dorset on a Bedford Rascal chassis-cab, it was based on a Suzuki Super Carry. All models were fitted with Suzuki’s four-pot in-line petrol engine driving the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. It was robust and reliable, if a bit underpowered for today’s traffic.
DVS has only covered some 65,000 miles and comes from a deceased estate, it has had 6 owners in its life and drove through all 5 gears with ease and no braking issues, you get used to the body roll. The cab appears very solid and the interior should respond well to some TLC.
